UIC4202 Data Sheet
The UIC4202 USB 2.0 Extender ASIC enables true plug and play long reach USB 2.0
connectivity over wired media including CAT5/CAT5e/CAT6.
Description
The UIC4202 series is a solution made available in low cost package. It is based on a
high-performance processor architecture that integrates many system-level functions ,
such as an 10/100Mbase Fast Ethernet MAC/PHY and controller, USB2.0 PHY and
controller, efficient microcontroller, embedded ROM and RAM, and in-circuit-emulator
which helps engineer to debug system without the hassle of handling messy
emulators.
Features
● Embedded USB2.0 host controller and transceiver, totally compliant with
USB1.1/USB2.0 (Hi-speed) specification.
● Integrates 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet MAC/PHY.
● Embedded Ethernet 802.3/3u transceiver, compliant with 100BASE-TX and
10BASE-T PMD level standards.
● Supports MDI/MDIX auto crossover function (Auto-MDIX).
● Supports majority Ethernet protocols TCP/IP.
● Supports LED indicators for Ethernet speed and connection.
● Supports up to 4 USB devices via external USB2.0 HUB controller(UIC4102R4
only).
● Driver installation: Supports Windows XP、Windows Vista 32Bit and 64 Bit、
Windows7 32 bit and 64 bit.
● Integrates on-chip power-on reset circuit.
● 3.3V IO voltage/1.8V core voltage.
● Small form factor with 64-pin LQFP (UIC4202T) or 80-pin LQFP (UIC4202R1 and
UIC4102R4) RoHS compliant package.
● Operating temperature range: 0˚C to 70˚C.
