DESCRIPTION
The U TC L R9101 is a t ypical LDO (line ar regulator) with the
features of h igh outp ut volta ge acc uracy, l ow sup ply curr ent, lo w
ON-resistance, and high ripple rejection.
During oper ation of the U TC LR9101, the dropo ut voltage is
very l ow a nd the resp onse of li ne transi ent and l oad tra nsient are
very well.
Internally, there’re m any fu nctions o f U TC LR9101 wh ich can
be seen in th e block fig ure. There are a vo ltage reference unit, an
error amplifier, resistor-net for volt age setting, a current limit circuit,
and a chip enable circuit in each UTC LR9101.
The UTC LR9101 can be us ed as an id eal of the power supply
for hand-held communication equipment, such as: power source for
portable com munication eq uipment, po wer source for electrical
appliances, fo r exampl e, ca meras, VCRs and c amcorders and
power source for battery-powered equipment.
