TPS Series
Low ESR
TPS surface mount pr oducts have inher-
ently low ESR (equivalent series resistance)
and ar e capable of higher ripple curr ent
handling, producing lower ripple voltages,
less power and heat dissipation than stan-
dard product for the most ef ficient use of
circuit power . TPS has been designed,
manufactur ed, and pr econditioned for
optimum performance in typical power
supply applications. By combining the
latest impr ovements in tantalum powder
technology , impr oved manufacturing
processes, and application specific pr e-
conditioning tests, AVX is able to provide a
technologically superior alter native to the
standard range.
